Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree and/or Masters
- Must possess or be eligible for one of the following CT SDE Certifications
- (001, 002, 005) CT Elementary Certification
Salary: Salary, work year and working conditions will be in accordance with the current contract between the IDCS Governing Board and IDCS Education Association.
Starting Date: August 2025
Reports to: Director & Assistant Director
Position Expectations:
- Foster social responsibility among students based on Responsive Classroom philosophy.
- Provide appropriate instruction in a multi-age classroom.
- Individualize instruction in an integrative student-centered manner to meet the needs of the students as well as honor various learning styles.
- Use data to make instructional decisions.
- Involve students in the research process as set forth by the IDCS
- Maintain family – school communication and family involvement on an ongoing basis.
- Collaborate with colleagues to improve learning for all students.
