What is the most inspiring part of your job?
The students! When I started working at IDCS I wanted to make a difference in the lives of the students, but what happened was “they” made a difference in my life!
Family, Pets, Home:
I live in Norwich with my husband. I have two amazing children (both IDCS alumni) , a daughter, Tessa, who is a senior at Cornell University and a son, Zeb, who is a sophomore at WPI. I also have 2 cats, Betsy and Yoda!
Hobbies, Skills, Talents OR what do you like to do when you are not working?
I was actually an art major in college and I love to be creative. I also like to sew, read, and listen to live music. During Covid shutdown I became obsessed with HGTV and I am currently redesigning my home room by room!
Who is someone you admire and why?
My Mom. She was selfless, smart, kind and the most giving person you would ever meet. Everyday I miss her and strive to be more like her.
If you had to eat only one food for the rest of your life what would it be?
Bananas!!! (And to make it more nutritious...Banana Splits!)
