What is the most inspiring part of your job? 

The most inspiring part of my job is working with so many eager learners in grades Pre-K through 8th grade.  I often get to know my students over the course of many years and I love seeing them grow.  My students have such enthusiasm for learning and they make me proud every day! 

Family, Pets, Home:  

I live in Niantic with my husband and 3 children (age 13, 10, and 7).

Hobbies, Skills, Talents OR what do you like to do when you are not working?   

When I am not at IDCS I enjoy spending my summers at the beach and skiing in Vermont during the winter.  I also spend a lot of my free time supporting my children and their sports and hobbies (a lot of driving and sideline cheering).

Who is someone you admire and why?   

If time travel and long distance space travel were possible and all fictional worlds were real.  What place and/or time would you visit and what would you do while you were there?
