What is the most inspiring part of your job? 
Knowing that we are providing our students with healthy balanced meals and also giving them the knowledge on how their food fuels their bodies.

 

Family, Pets, Home:
I have 4 kids plus 2 bonus kids! No pets as of yet, but we are currently looking to adopt a pup to complete our family.

 

Hobbies, Skills, Talents OR what do you like to do when you are not working? 
I’m a huge couponer/clearance shopper, and this comes in handy because I love to give back. I love to cook and try out new recipes I see on social media with my family, thankfully most are enjoyable. I do love to plan day trips with my kids to give them new experiences!

 

What is something you want to learn more about?   
The Child Nutrition Program, I wish I joined sooner. I do enjoy learning more about my job and how to be better at it. There is always room for growth. 

 

If you had to eat only one food for the rest of your life what would it be?  

This is tough, I’ve been addicted to chicken parm lately but above all I would have to choose rice and beans.
