What is the most inspiring part of your job?
I always love seeing that moment when the students learn a piece of music and can play it well. The skills they learn playing an instrument can help them in all other aspects of their learning and it’s a joy to see when they flourish playing their instrument because I know they will be able to do anything they want to accomplish.
Family, Pets, Home:
I live with in Norwich with my 2 rescue dogs, Ellie and Gizmo, both yellow labs and we usually have a foster dog staying with us until they find their forever home
Hobbies, Skills, Talents OR what do you like to do when you are not working?
I play with the Eastern Connecticut Symphony Orchestra and the New Britain Symphony Orchestra as well as other groups throughout CT. So when I’m not teaching here, at NFA , at my home or performing, I like to do crafts, sew and just hang out with my dogs
What is something you want to learn more about?
I always want to learn more about the violin and how to continue to improve my playing. I also want to learn more about dog training to help the foster dogs that I have and about Pet therapy training too.
If you had to eat only one food for the rest of your life what would it be?
Pasta
